It serves as a foundation level course suitable for all staff.

The MHFA Refresher course is to help MHFAiders: Keep their knowledge, awareness, and skills of mental health support current Update their knowledge of mental health and what influences it Practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action plan Once you have completed your MHFA Refresher course, you will be certified for three years and will be invited to become or stay a member of our Association of Mental Health First Aiders – making sure you have everything you need to feel confident when supporting others.

This is a half day course delivered either face-to-face or online. When booking individual places, these courses are online only Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions, and workshop activities. We limit numbers to 25 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn We strive for all of our learning content to be as accessible and inclusive as possible.
