Suicide remains a critical public health issue, affecting many people and their loved ones each year. The latest figures are 17 people die by suicide a day in the UK, 5 were getting some form of mental health support, and 4 of those 5 were considered 'low or no risk'. Despite growing awareness, many people still struggle to recognise the signs of suicide risk, and to feel confident in how to respond.
This Suicide Awareness & Prevention Workshop is designed to bridge the gap, providing you with the essential skills and knowledge to make a meaningful difference in both personal and professional settings.
We believe that every individual has the potential to help reduce suicide by fostering supportive and informed interactions. This workshop aims to reduce the stigma surrounding suicide, empowering people to engage in compassionate conversations.
