What you will gain
Increased confidence to support colleagues in distress
An actionable ALGEE framework for crisis-first-aid skills
24/7 access to the MHFAider Support App® featuring a text line, signposting, and self-care tools
A resource-rich online learning hub with quarterly webinars
Membership in England's largest community of Mental Health First Aiders
Most organisations have a trained first aider for physical emergencies. Yet when a colleague is visibly struggling - withdrawn, anxious, overwhelmed - most people freeze. They don’t know what to say. They’re afraid of making things worse. So they say nothing.
That silence has a cost: delayed support, deepening distress, and a workplace culture that quietly communicates “we don’t talk about that here.”
This course changes that. Over two days, your delegates gain the knowledge, frameworks and genuine confidence of to be a Mental Health First Aider - trained to the nationally recognised MHFA England standard, trusted by thousands of UK organisations. Delivered by a trainer with 1,500+ people trained and a 9.89/10 quality of instructor feedback rating, this isn’t just a course. It’s a shift in culture.

Our Approach
Online or face-to-face course structured across four sessions.
When booking individual places, these courses are online only
Learners will be trained over four live sessions with an MHFA England Instructor Member, covering 14 hours of content in total.
Learning takes place through a mix of instructor led training, group discussions, individual and group activities.
Each session builds on the previous, enabling the learner to gain confidence in supporting others with a Mental Health First Aid action plan.
We limit numbers to 16 people per course so that instructors can keep people safe and supported while they learn.
We strive for all of our learning content to be as accessible and inclusive as possible.
Two structured days or four half-days of interactive, facilitated learning. Tutor-led input is woven with small-group discussion, case study scenarios and personal reflection to consolidate skills in real time.
Maximum 16 delegates per cohort - deliberately small to maintain psychological safety and depth. Delivered in-person or online. All MHFA England accredited materials provided.

“I attended Jake's MHFA course which I found not only informative but also incredibly helpful. Jake’s vast knowledge and understanding around this sensitive and often misunderstood subject was extremely enlightening and helpful.
Jake led on thought provoking discussion which easily and naturally facilitated wider discussions within the group that helped widen perspectives and support offerings when acting as a MHFA within any organisation.
I would strongly recommend Jake as an instructor of choice to any organisation which is looking at enhancing employee health and wellbeing through facilitating MHFA’s within their workforce. Thank you Jake.”
